Whip-O-Will Campsites features activities to please everyone’s interests, supplementing the area’s fine attractions with so much to do right here at the campground. We offer a catch and release fishing lake, boat rentals (both rowboats and paddleboats), and acres of woods for long walks and wildlife viewing. A swimming pool and kiddie pool are available for poolside lounging and cool plunges on those warm Summer days. We also offer basketball, horseshoes, bocce, a playground, and miniature golf, along with two rec halls. The main rec hall offers video games, pool tables, a lending library, and a snack bar. Our second rec hall hosts many of the activities and special events that we present throughout the season. These include our 4th of July Parade, Bocce Tournament, Basketball Shoot-Out, Christmas in July, Diving for Dollars, Kids’ Day, our annual BBQ, and Halloween events. The list below presents the full schedule of all that we have planned for throughout the season. Join us … and join in the fun!

April
April 13	Whip-O-Will opens for the 2012 season.

May
May 5	Whip-O-Will store opens for the season (with pre-season hours).
May 25-28 Memorial Day Weekend (3 day minimum stay)
May 25	Recreation Hall opens for pre-season weekends. Pool opens for the season
May 26	Camp-wide Hayride.
May 27	Adult Bingo starts for the season.

June
June 9	Breakfast.
June 22	Store and Rec Hall open for summer hours.
June 23	Pool opens daily. Saturday hayrides begin.
June 30	Basketball Shoot-Out 1.
July
July 4	4th of July Parade.
July 7	Whip-O-Will Games.
July 14	Christmas in July Weekend, with Christmas lights, hayride and judging.
July 21	Annual Fishing Tournament.
July 28	Diving for Silver.

August
August 4	Kids’ Day.
August 11	Mini-Golf Tournament.
August 18	Annual Horseshoe Contest.

September
August 31 - September 3 Labor Day Weekend (3 day minimum stay)
September 1	Basketball Shoot-Out 2. Labor Day Potluck Dinner.
September 2	Adult Bingo season finale.
September 8	Annual Washers Tournament. Annual Lasso Golf.
September 15	Annual Whip-O-Will BBQ. Bocce Tournament.
September 22	Halloween at Whip-O-Will. Haunted Hayride. (Rain Date: September 29th.)
September 29	Leaf Peeping.

October
October 5-8 Columbus Day Weekend (Camp for 3 nights, pay for 2)
October 6	Whip-O-Will Thanksgiving Dinner.
October 14	Whip-O-Will closes for the 2012 season. We hope to see you next year!
